Dolphins lost, Browns lost, Couch got benched, Kill Bill
fell to the #2 spot, blah, blah, blah, what a weekend!
No Mercy
Tajiri beat Rey – they’ve had better, but
still a good match and refreshing change from big guys
doing
spine busters, boots, and suplexes.
Benoit submitted A train – this was better than I
though it would be.
Gowen beat Hardy – decent match, but it just didn’t
look right seeing hardy do the clean job.
Bashams beat APA – really didn’t pay close attention,
the APA is stale, and the Basham’s gimmick sucks
so far.
Vince beat Steph – I don’t know how to rate this
one. It was dumb, silly, stupid, but it was so dumb it was
funny. You had vince’s overacting, Linda’s robotic
self, Steph’s huge rack, and Sable. It had more entertainment
value than the tag match earlier, even though there was
no wrestling.
Angle beat Cena – here’s why lesnar is not a true,
top main eventer….. he could not carry cena through a
main event caliber match, while a true top dog like angle did.
Now yeah maybe lesnar and cena didn’t match well stylisticly
or something like that, but a main eventer has to be able to
put a midcarder over like angle does with cena….. and
lesnar cannot….. is lesnar ever involved in a great/good
match that doesn’t involve another top guy? Can he carry
a midcarder like A train? Big show? Cena? Actually Lesnar needs
to be carried in great matches by guys like angle, benoit,
eddie, the rock… but he’s a huge, athletic guy,
with a great background and the personality of a brick so push
him…..
Big show beat eddie - speaking of carry, this was a so-so
match, but if it were show and lesnar can you imagine how
it would
have been? Eddie is essentially buried, since he broke
every rule in the book and still lost…. Hopefully, this just
a transitional belt change so a face can win it from the show…..

Lesnar beat taker – I turned it off at this point, we
know how this match will go…..
RAW REVIEW
Austin promo – Test and Stacy come down, eventually Test
gets stunned. Bitchoff challenges Austin to make a team for
the 5 on 5 Survivor Series match and he already has Y2J and
Steiner on his team. Austin agrees gets beers and Stacy drinks
them with him this week. DUMB, just DUMB. Stacy forgives him
for stunning her for no reason. The 5 on 5 match will consist
mostly of guys HHH has buried and won’t let main event.
Booker T, RVD, Stenier, Y2J and some guys who deserve better,
but won’t ever get it, Lance Storm, Christian, Hurricane.
Dudley’s beat Conway/Dupree – Wow the frenchies
didn’t job for months when they arrived, now they’re
doing it every week. That’s one good change that
has been made.
Booker T beat Orton by count out – Orton just left the
ring, Booker announces he’ll join Austin’s team,
essentially declaring that he ‘s returning to the
same useless, mid card spot he had when he left.
RVD/Storm vs Y2J/Steiner – I don’t know why Storm
and Y2J aren’t paired against each other more. It’s
obvious they can work well together and given their shared
backgrounds they know each other very well. Nice to see
Storm getting a chance to show us what he can do, as he
pulled some
very athletic moves. Steiner involved in a good match for
a change too.
Molly/Vic beat Trish/Lita – Who’d a thought that
Lita would be the worse worker in the ring? Remember when Trish
couldn’t work at all? We’ve seen the ladies
work too much lately. I think once on the PPV and once
on RAW per
month is enough. Skits and promos the other weeks, or bikini
contests.
Flair beat Maven – Did anyone that’s not a 13 year
old girl cheer for Maven? Seriously, working against a legend
like Flair, is there any reason to cheer for him? Flair’s
the man.
Kane promo – He accepts Shane’s challenge, wow.
This is soooooo stupid. The cops surrounding him, another match
between the two, the dumb ass stunts. Limo crashes, burning
dumpsters, jumper cables, blah, blah, blah. I am Kane’s
career, watch me swirl around in the toilet month after
month, year after year.
Batista jumps Goldberg and HBK in the main event. Batista’s
back, he’s a huge guy. I have to admit he’s got
the look. Show ends with HHH and the Horseman posing. HHH has
to be careful so he doesn’t injure himself posing.
Overall, the matches weren’t so bad, with a really excellent
one, RVD and Storm’s. Storylines are still dumb,
Austin/Stacy/Kane/Shane, UGH. At least its improving..
