Judgement Day PPV
I have to be completely honest. I hardly watched it. I guess
my mind had been made up that it was gonna suck so bad, I couldn’t
keep from channel surfing. Out of what I did see, here’s
what I have to say:
Tag Team Ladder Match – Pretty good match, nothing spectacular.
It was nice to see Tajiri get an opportunity to shine. Team
Angle seemed a little out of place, but it was OK.
IC title Battle Royal – what a waste of a bunch of good
talent. RVD, Lance Storm used less than 1 minutes. Whole match
lasted about 5 minutes. What a Shame.
4 Way Women’s Title – OK match. They need more
women workers. The division is too thin. There’s plenty
on the indy scene for them to get and train.
Mr. America vs Piper – we’ve seen it before, we’ll
probably see it again. Boy has Piper let himself go!
Lesnar vs Show – better than I thought it would be
RAW REVIEW
Show Starts with Austin forcing HHH to defend the belt. HHH
chooses Flair to defend against.
Dudley’s beat 3Min. Warning – I was eating dinner
and didn’t pay close attention, seemed like it was OK.
Rico quits 3min., are we supposed to care?
HHH expects flair to lie down for him. Austin tells Nash he
gets the winner. Who tried to run over Goldberg?
Y2K Hi-lite Reel - Christian the new IC champ is guest. RVD
comes down, gets jumped, Kane saves, Austin makes impromptu
tag title match.
RVD/Kane win by DQ – pretty good match, but should be
given Christian, RVD, and Y2J involved. Booker T saves Kane
from conchairto.
Shawn Michaels pep talks Ric Flair. Flair starts to cry. What
a good actor. Flair and Vince ought to be in movies.
5 Min. Whiteboy challenge – Mack vs Spike. Spike almost
makes it the 5 min, before tapping out to the “Blackout”.
Teddy Long is the best part of this segment. He sounds like
an idiot, its funny.
Austin tortures Bitchoff during his hangover, brings him Moolah
and Mae to make it worse.
Austin then finds out its Lance Storm who tried to run over
Goldberg. Flair lets HHH know he won’t lie down for him,
give s a great promo.
Goldberg murders Lance Storm – I feel so sorry for Storm.
It’s a shame to see him get jobbed like this. Storm and
Tajiri are the WWE’s most unused, underrated, unappreciated
talent. Storm reveals Y2J put him up to it.
HHH beat Flair – It’s a shame that HHH’s
best match in several months comes against 50+ year old Flair.
HHH actually sold a lot of moves. Including the Figure 4, he
sold that like hell. In the end, of course HHH wins, but it
was great to see Flair in a good match and funny enuff, HHH
too. Austin announces HHH vs Nash, Hell in a Cell, great.
Pretty good RAW this week. Main event was good, good tag title
match, some funny promos. Better than usual RAW.
