2 Fast 2 Furious read my review over in the movie section.
To make it short, unless you really like those kinds of cars
or your 10-17 years old, this movie isn’t for you.
Boxing
Vitali Klitchko vs Lennox Lewis is on for June 21st. Great,
the Jonathan Lightning Tournament is that night. I guess I’ll
have to beat everyone real fast.
RAW
Who will the special ref be for the HITC match?? Austin will
let us know tonight.
Goldberg vs Rosie – decent short match, helping Goldberg
get over.
RVD vs Dupree – another decent match, at least RVD wins
this time, but gets beat down by the Frenchies, who I don’t
think should go over at the PPV.
Bitchoff and Austin discuss REDNECK TRIATHOLON. I wonder if
this will suck or be good? Lets hope its not a waste of our
PPV time.
Ivory/trish vs Victoria/jazz – another decent match.
I’m still convinced Victoria should be carrying the strap.
She has the best look for it and gimmick too. Jazz is boring,
Ivory is kinda plain and Trish can’t hold the strap forever
and still looks too pretty and not, well excuse me for saying
this, “tuff enuff”. Ivory pins jazz again, will
she get the strap?
Steiner vs Storm – Dammit, storm gets buried again, great.
Test hits Steiner from behind and then heels out on stacy.
On the good side though, he’s actually getting some heel
heat.
Mick Foley is your ref, HHH threatens him and cuts a pretty
good promo.
Hurricane vs Orton – flair and HBK at ringside. Orton
wins with a version of the diamond cutter, he needs another
finisher, cutter is old news. OMG….. HBK beats down Orton
and Flair continuously. You mean to tell me between the two
of them, they cant handle HBK?? Way to squash a legend and
young up and comer. I’m almost sure you’ll see
Orton putting on some weight by the way, he ‘s in good
shape but thin.
Spinarooni contest – funny stuff with lawler doing it,
then hilarious stuff with Christian dancing and attempting
it….. LOL…… pretty good segment
Mack vs Devon – without the white boy challenge angle,
it’s pretty boring. Nowinski with Mack?? Does that make
sense?
Foley goes at it with HHH, they keep reminding us how HHH retired
Mick…. Don’t forget HHH has pretty much retired
Kane, Test, Steiner, and RVD as well. And he wanted to do it
to Angle back in the day. How does Mick get up so fast from
a pedigree on a chair?? Nash makes save, OMG!!!! Nash is getting
over!!! It took bringing back Mick for him to save to do it,
WOW!!! More HBK squashing Ric and Orton. DO you like how HHH’s
buddies get over and get pushed?
Overall, this show did manage to get over Nash and Test, but
doesn’t increase my interest in seeing them at the PPV.
Entertainment wise the show failed. The matches were from bad
to OK, the best part of the night was the short Spinarooni
contest. The other segments kinda fell flat.
PPV predictions
Steiner vs Test – I’ll say test will win for 2
reasons, one so we can see him abusing Stacy over the next
few weeks to get him more heel heat and two, further bury Steiner.
RVD/Kane vs the French – I don’t like these guys
getting the belts so soon, without even losing a tag match
yet. Heck they’ve only lost one match period. But with
the Kane angle and thin tag division wee could see it happening.
On the other hand, they could keep belts with Kane and RVD
to keep them buried in the midcard, with little push. It’s
a toss up, but I’m gonna go with Kane and RVD since they
jobbed out the 2 previous weeks and well, sad to say, if the
lost, the WWE wouldn’t know what do with them anyways.
HBK vs Flair – yeah right, Flair has a chance?? He’s
jobbed to everyone on RAW and now he’s gonna beat HHH’s
buddy?
Y2J vs Goldberg – Y2J has been getting the better of
him, so we’ll see Goldberg win.
Christian vs Booker – Booker wins, no doubt, it’s
his hometown.
HHH vs Nash – with the pop nash got this week saving
foley, they might put him over, this is one is pretty close
to call, I’m gonna say nash will win only to drop it
back to HHH soon.
