BATTLE ROYAL
I finally got the movie and it is excellent, best movie I’ve
seen this year by far. Read my review for it over in the movie
section.
Kill Bill
If you like Quentin Tarrintino or his style of films, you must
check out the trailer for this movie. Stop reading this right

I might not see another movie till this comes out in October.
It was announced that this movie will indeed be split into
two parts. Part I comes out on Oct. 10 and Part II, 2 to 6
months later. Yeah it sucks, but oh well what can you do besides
bitch and moan. I’ll be shelling out $10 for each part,
then another $10 for popcorn and soda. I’ve read the
script for the movie, it’s over 200 pages so it is definitely
a long movie. Depending on whether or not this type of ultra-violent,
revenge movie is your cup of tea, you’ll either love
it or hate it.
Love Stinks
It’s a very funny movie that’s on DVD. Go rent
it, it’s hilarious.
RAW
Well, Raw has sucked for the past 2 weeks, real hard. So hard,
I didn’t even watch the PPV this weekend. I didn’t
even really want to watch RAW tonight. Out of fear of going
into a depression. Oh well here goes……
Booker T/Steiner beat Test/Christian – Are these feuds
not over yet? How many more times must we see them in the ring
together. Booker is pretty much a paper champ, as they are
doing nothing with him, like they’re doing to Test and
Steiner. And why the hell is Christian getting dumped on like
this?
Goldberg kills Steven Richards – wow, this felt like
a flashback to Goldberg’s rise in WCW, squashing everyone
in sight. This is what Goldberg should have been doing for
the last 3 months. Richards has got be at the point in his
career where he’s just collecting a paycheck. He’s
got to know he’ll never be over and his best days (RTC??FLOCK??)
are behind him.
EVO comes out and does a promo with Goldberg. Nothing special
but sets up a match with Flair next week.
Val Venis beat Rico – crowd killer here, BUT at least
Rico lost which means the end of his push and this STUPID gimmick.
Give him credit for trying it though. Venis too, has to know
that his career has reached its apex.
Hi Lite Reel – HBK, Orton, Y2J – decent segment
killed by the arrival of Nash, which leads us to……….
Nash beat Y2J – hhhmmm, who did Y2J piss off to cause
this beat down. Nash pummels Y2J around ringside, busting him
open and pretty much squashing him. Nash is just not watch
able and Y2J is getting dumped on.
French guys beat Jindrak/Cade – I didn’t even give
this one a chance and turned the channel. The outcome was obvious
and it’s annoying to see the big push the Frenchies are
getting.
Molly beat Gail Kim- as soon as I saw who was working, I knew
Molly would win as punishment for Gail’s goof last week.
It’s nice that the Raw staff realized they pushed Kim
waaaaaay toooooooooo fast on the fans.
Kane/vince/Austin/shane angle was our feature event, great.
Are we gonna have to see dysfunctional family part II? Shane
vs Vince again? Please NO! Shane vs Kane? I hope not. Pretty
lame.
OVERALL, a pretty lame show. Not a good match the whole night.
Lance Storm and RVD, weren’t used. If they had been,
they probably would have been wasted anyways. Booker T and
Christian are in a rut. And so we have to watch Venis, Rico,
the Frenchies, Nash and the rest of the crap that is Raw. I
didn’t even complain about Bitchoff this week..
